Uneton virkkaaja - Sleepless Crocheteer

Nukkumisen sijaan vietin tässä taannoin yön pikkutunteja virkaten!! Ei ole ehkä minun juttu, mutta onpahan yritetty. Ainakin Rotting Roofissa on nyt yksi matto ja liina lisää. Toivottavasti tulevat asukit tuovat omansa mukanaan! heh..

In stead of sleeping, I spent one night crocheting!! Seriously, not my piece of cake. But I tried. At least there's one more carpet and a table-cloth in Rotting Roof. I hope the future residents bring their own with them. Hah!

Pöydän tuskailin kasaan rautalangasta ja puutikuista. Kynttilä on fimoa, rautalankaa ja akryylimaalia, jalkana Doloreksesta ostettu puuhelmi. Lasikaverukset ostin kun kävimme Riiassa syksyllä. Olisi pitänyt hamstrata noita enemmän mutta pihiys iski ihmiseen.


I made the table from wooden sticks and iron wire. Oh what a pain was it, to get all the legs straight.. Candle is fimo, iron wire and drippings are acrylic paint. The holder is a wooden bead. Those glass buddies I bought from Riga, Latvia in autumn. I should have bought more of them, but I got my sparing-mode on..

Tuli vähän sellainen olo että tämä kolmikko ei halua esiintyä valokuvissa. Melkein luovutin, mutta pari viimeistä kuvaa onnistui jotenkuten. Eteisen (oikeaa..) seinääkin olen näemmä tuhrinut maalilla.. Kannattaa ehkä klikata kuvaa niin näkee paremmin. Käärme ainakin on vahvaa tekoa! Myrtti (kissa) ehti jo kertaalleen varastaa sen ja viskoa pitkin lattioita ilman että mitään katkesi!


I got the feeling that this trio don't want to get photographed! Wonder what they have to hide.. I almost gave up, but the last two photos were alright. And it seems that I have smudged paint on the real wall.. You should click the photos to see better because this might be the last time I go through the trouble of taking their photos.. The snake at least is sturdy! Myrtti (a cat) stole it and was throwing it around the house and nothing got broken!
